The SSLNT Mahila Mahavidyalaya (SSLMMC) is one of the best Colleges in Dhanbad for women in Jharkhand. This institution has been operating successfully for more than 65 years. Its mission is to empower women by providing them with the best quality education. The Institute's courses provide students with an excellent grounding in practical learning. Prime Minister Indira Gandhi inaugurated SSLNT College Dhanbad.

Established in 1955, the institution was previously known as the Women's College, Dhanbad, and was originally functioning on the campus of Abhaya Sundri High School. Today, SSLNT Mahila Mahavidyalaya Dhanbad is a constituent college of Vinoba Bhave University, which the UGC accredits. It offers several specializations and a diverse student body. The College is a private institution accredited by NCTE.

The College offers bachelor's, master's, and intermediate courses. These courses are accreditated by the Jharkhand Academic Council. SSLNT Mahila Mahavidyalaya Admission

Admission to SSLNT is competitive and merit-based. The admission process requires applicants to fill out an SSLNT college Dhanbad online admission form and submit it to the Institute. After completing the application form, students must pay the application fee of INR 100. The final selection will be made based on the merit list.

The minimum eligibility for admission is 50% marks in 10+2 board examinations. One must also be a Jharkhand resident. SSLNT College Dhanbad Placement cell focuses on the needs of students and the industry. The Placement Cell also helps students to choose the right career path. The cell provides placement preparation sessions, including communication and personality development training, mock tests, and practice sessions on Quantitative Ability, Logical Ability, and Reasoning.

Placement is offered in various sectors and jobs. Students can choose from the public, private and entrepreneurial sectors. This institution also offers free SSB coaching and placement services to its students.

SSLNT Mahila Mahavidyalaya Infrastructure

SSLNT is located in the city of Dhanbad, Jharkhand. It is easily accessible from the airport, Dhanbad Railway Station, and Hirapur railway station. Students can reach the campus within ten to fifteen minutes. The SSLNTMM has an excellent infrastructure with modern classrooms, laboratories, a sports complex, and a tennis court.

The dormitories are well furnished with all conceivable amenities, including a mess hall, canteen, study rooms with a desk, chair, bed, and water fountains.
