Sir JJ College of Architecture was set up in 1857 with the name Bombay School of Art & Industry. Later in 1913, it was renamed. In 2013 by Outlook-MDRA Poll, it had ranked the BEST architecture college in the country. They have approval from the Council of Architecture (COA) and are affiliated with the University of Mumbai. The campus area is about 19.5 acres with well-equipped magnificent infrastructure such as Library, Claude Batley Gallery, Auditorium, Computer Labs, Transportation facility, Architecture Studios, Air-conditioned classrooms, and Hostel accommodation are available. Apart from these, they have Medical Centre, Canteen and Students Club to arrange extra-curricular activities.

Sir JJ College of Architecture has a dedicated and well-experienced faculty team imparting advanced teaching. Also, it organizes Seminars, Site visits, Course work, Workshops, and Educational Tours to enhance conceptual and analytical abilities among students.

  • The courses offered in Sir JJ College of Architecture are Under Graduate Program B.Arch. With an intake capacity of 67 seats and a master’s degree M.Arch. Through Valid score in NATA/JEE Main along with 10+2 marks admissions for B.Arch. In Sir JJ College of Architecture will be granted.
  • M.Arch. Admissions to Sir JJ College of Architecture will be made through a valid Score obtained in MAH-M. Arch-CET and the eligibility required is graduation in B.Arch.
  • Applicants can obtain the application form through online or offline mode for all the courses offered. The application fee would cost around INR 800 for GC/outside Maharashtra candidates, INR 600 for SC/ST/PWD/OBC candidates, and INR 5,000 for NRI or foreign. The fee shall be paid through online or offline mode.

Sir JJ College of Architecture accept NATA or JEE Main (Paper 2) Exam score for offering admission to the B Arch. MHT CET is not valid, since it is conducted for engineering. Based on the NATA score, candidates are required to register for the CAP (Centralized admission process), which will be administered by CET Cell, Maharashtra.

To gain admission to Sir JJ College of Architecture, you must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a main subject. In addition, you shall have attempted NATA or JEE Main (Paper 2). Based on the NATA/JEE Main-2 score, you must register for CAP Counselling (Centralised admission process), which is administered by the STATE CET cell, Maharashtra. During the choice filling round, indicate your preference for this college. Seats will be allotted based on preference and NATA/JEE Main scores.

The basic eligibility criteria for the B.Arch program is to have academic merit in qualifying exams i.e. 10+2 exams with a min of 50% marks. Selections will be based on NATA scores.
