MIET BE/B Tech Eligibility
- To apply for B Tech admission in Gondiya, the candidate must be an Indian national who has passed the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education's HSSC (Class XII) examination
- OR, it's equivalent with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics AND Achieved a minimum of 50% on a scale of 300 points, i.e., 150 out of 300
- Candidates who have completed their studies in three-year Diploma Engineering streams can apply for B Tech Lateral Program.
MIET BE/B Tech Selection Criteria
- Admission to the BE program at MIET is based on a JEE Main or MHT-CET result.
- The final merit list will be created by giving JEE Main 50% weightage and the 12th standard examination 50% weightage.
- MIET follows the admission guidelines prescribed by DTE, Maharashtra. The final seat allotment takes place through CAP (Centralized admission procedure)
- Thus, B Tech admission seekers have to apply for CAP to secure admission seats at MIET.
- Based on JEE Main & MHT CET Results, the competent authority will prepare the merit list.
- Moreover, students' merit rank must be identical to the MIET B Tech cut-off criteria set by the college authority.
- The final seat will be allotted through CAP, for those students who qualify the minimum eligibility terms as well as cut off norms.
MIET M.Tech admission
MIET, Gondiya, provides an M.Tech program in Environmental Engineering. The annual intake for M Tech is 14 seats.
- M Tech Admission in MIET is provided based on the GATE score, followed by CAP counselling.
- Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate mark in the relevant discipline (45 per cent for candidates from backward classes & PWDs belonging to the State of Maharashtra only).
- Candidates who satisfy the eligibility norms and a valid GATE score can apply for CAP through the DTE Maharashtra Website for the seat allotment procedure.
