Shri Sandipani Shikshan Evam Sodh Samiti started the Shri Guru Sandipani Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS) in 2009. The vision is to become a center of excellence in technical education, which leads to personality development with managerial, technical skills having ethical values and social consciousness. The students are trained and transformed into professionals and technocrats in the competitive business world.

• The institute offers courses like B.E with specializations like mechanical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, computer science engineering, and civil engineering. The admissions will be made based on the rank scored in the JEE Main exam.
• The institute covers 10 acres of land with facilities like security, classrooms, sports, laboratory, library, computer labs, canteen, medical, auditorium, hostel, and transport.
• The library has 8 international journals, 28 national journals, and 9573 books for all the departments accessible 24 hours.

ELIXIR is the technical fest conducted in the institute every year to improve students' basic knowledge about the modern use of technology. The institute is given state rank A by career 360 in the year 2013. The clubs like dance club, poetry club, photography club, music club, seminars, and sports are present within the campus to encourage the students in extracurricular activities.

The training and Placement cell of the institute provides the students with industrial training the students in the final semester and final job opportunities for eligible candidates. The cell conducts on-campus drives inviting national and international level companies to provide career opportunities for the students. Cognizant, Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services are some of the top companies of the institute, and the average salary package offered to the students is INR 5 LPA.
