GERMI started the School of Technology-Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University in the year 2010. The university offers courses like B.Tech in Information and Communication Technology, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering, M.Tech in Nuclear Science and Technology, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Solar Energy, Power Systems, Thermal Engineering and Infrastructure Engineering and Management and Ph.D.

• The vision is to become globally respected and renowned institution providing the students with training and education leading to innovation and research.
• The objective is to change the design content and innovation of its courses as per international standards.
• The mission is to provide UG, PG and research courses to the interested students in Oil and Gas Technology fields.
• The admissions of the students to these courses will be done based on the marks scored in exams like JEE Main, GUJCET and GATE as per reservation cutoff.

The institute covers 100 acres of land with facilities like classrooms, cafeteria, auditorium, library, laboratory, computer labs, sports, transport and medical within the campus. The hostel has double sharing rooms for male and triple sharing rooms for female students with food court, shopping area, stationary shop, outdoor games, indoor games, health center and gym at a rate of INR 1.08-1.13 LPA.

Placement:

Training and Placement cell has collaborations with various organizations and provides the students with training and internship programs. Selection of candidates, dates of interview, job offers and further information is provided to the students from the Training and Placement Office. The salary package for eligible students is around INR 4-7.5 LPA and the companies like Empire Spices, Yes Bank, Infraline, Line, Jindal, Jubilant, Indian Oil Tanking Ltd., Reliance, Suzlon, Weatherford, GSPC, ICICI Bank, GAIL, Mahindra Satyam, L&T Ltd., Essar E&P Ltd., Cairn, Accenture, Infosys and EIL etc. are some of the top recruiters of the institute hiring the students every year.
