Government Engineering College Gandhinagar (GECG) is a familiar technical institute that imparts appropriate practical education in engineering. The College was founded in the year 2004 located in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat. GECG is approved under AICTE and affiliated with GTU (Gujarat Technical University). • The Total Intake for BE/B Tech is 120 Seats for each branch, and for ME/M Tech total intake is 36
• Admissions for BE/B Tech will be done according to the candidate's marks obtained in the 10+2 Exam and secure a valid rank in JEE Main & GUJCET Entrance Exam.
• Admissions for ME/M Tech will be based on the GATE Entrance Exam score, and PGCET Score is acceptable. Candidates must be graduated with a bachelor’s degree with aggregate marks.

Government Engineering College Gandhinagar offers Bachelor’s Degree BE/B Tech in 6 Specializations. Admissions for BE/B Tech will be done according to the candidate's marks obtained in the 10+2 Exam and secure a valid rank in JEE Main & GUJCET Entrance Exam.

Candidates must secure a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths (40% Reserved Category). Candidates secured in the entrance exam must attend the counseling session with relevant educational documents for verification purposes—candidates secured in Diploma/B.Sc. I can also apply for Lateral Entry.

GECG ME/M Tech Admission Process

Government Engineering College Gandhinagar offers a Master’s Degree ME/M Tech in Computer Engineering and Bio-Medical Engineering. Candidates must be eligible with 45% aggregate marks in BE? B Tech and secure a valid rank in GATE Entrance Exam to qualify for admission. Students with PGCET Valid Score are offered admission only if the seats remain. Priority will be given to the Candidates who have secured the GATE Entrance Exam.

GECG Application Process

Candidates looking to take admission for BE/B Tech through GUJCET must visit the official portal of GSEB and register the name. Candidates must acquire an information brochure & Pin Code by paying the application fees INR 350. After spending the fees, candidates must fill up the required details mentioned in the application form and submit it by uploading the photo and attach relevant documents. Application fees for ME/M Tech are INR 1000, and they can be paid through Demand Draft.

Candidates must pay the fees through Demand Draft in favor of “Secretary, Gujarat Common Entrance Test Cell” Payable at Gandhinagar.
