The University is popularly known as PDPU, established in 2007 by GERMI as a Private University. PDPU is recognized by UGC and is a member of AIU. The University of PDPU offers various courses at UG, PG and research levels. Candidates appearing for all these courses must appear in the National and State level examination. Admission for these courses offers by PDPU is based on the entrance exam scores of the students.

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University B. Tech Admission

At the UG level, PDPU offers B. Tech and B. Tech lateral courses to students who want to pursue a career in the engineering field. The courses are provided for four years and three years. Every specialization has several seats allotted opted by the candidates.

Admission for B. Tech courses is based on marks secured in JEE Main examination. As a result, 15% of seats are allotted for NRI candidates.

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University UG Admission

At the UG level, PDPU offers BA (Hons), B. Com (Hons), BBA (Hons) and B.Sc (Hons) with various disciplines. These courses are provided for four years. Admission for the UG course at PDPU depends on written test and Interview conducted by the college. BBA and BA (H) are offered with 280 seats each, B. Com (H) is provided with 120 seats, B. Sc (H) is equipped with 60 seats.

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University M. Tech Admission

PDPU offers engineering courses in M. Tech with 16 disciplines for two years. The University offers 18 seats for each field. Admission for the M. Tech course at PDPU is based on GATE examination scores. Therefore, 50% of the seats are offered through GATE scores. The rest, 50% of seats, are filled through a personal interview conducted by University for non-gate candidates.

The University offers a PG course in Business Administration and Arts field. Courses like MBA, MA, M.Sc courses are offered with various specializations. PGDPM-x, PGDGM-x courses are also provided under PGD. MBA course at PDPU is equipped with 60 seats, 20 seats for the MA course, and 25 seats for the M.Sc course. Admission for MBA course at PDPU must have cleared in XAT / CAT / NMAT followed by GDPI, WAT, Work experience and academic performance. Admission for MA and M.Sc course must have cleared written test conducted by the University.

Can I get direct admission to the BCA program at PDPU?

There is no BCA program offered at PDPU. The available UG programs are BA, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc., B-Tech, and Diploma in different specializations.

Students looking for B-Tech admissions at PDPU depend on academic scores in the 10th and 12th board exams followed by GUJCET scores. The GUJCET cut-off for the CSE stream is 914.

For Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University B-Tech admissions, applicants must have appeared for JEE Main/ GUJCET or Gujarat ACPC counseling results.

To be considered for a full-time MBA program at PDPU, applicants must have passed a graduation degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50%, followed by CAT/ MAT scores. Students can submit their forms online.
