Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology which is shortly known as (SCET) situated in Surat was bought up in the year 1995. This is 1 of the major institutions contributing technical education in field of Engineering & Architecture. And it’s been allied with the Veer Narmad South Gujarat University & approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

• This institute imparts satisfactory facility of hostels for both boys and girls separately.
• Here in this institute all the classroom is well-furnished with all the current technologies.
• And the institute mainly inspires sports activities since 15 years regularly,
• Here the college the library is well-furnished with books of for all discipline, back volumes and present journals.

This institute conducts SEVERAL TECHNICAL EVENTS like National level Engineering UG.s Tech fest called KSHITIJ which is a yearly allowance of KSHITIJ series which was started in 2002. Here the main goal of Kshitij is to impart a unique review to the impending technocrats to be up to date with the modern technologies.

And also separate department organizes several events like CS Dept. organises Symposium, EEE organizes “Urja”, IT Dept. organizes “Converse” etc.

Many CULTURAL ACTIVITIES are taken place like “Verve” which is a heritage cultural program which reminds the area of consideration, coordination, prudence & wisdom.

And near by the college the students can find many food stalls and also good restaurants, CAFÉ, Park where students can hang out and have fun with their friends.

Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology Placement:

The placement cell has created its impression through a balance between science and industry. Cell firmly believes in the saying: "Nothing less than the best industry." The constant effort is to prepare students in the field of technology has been a success epitome for a long time. All incoming companies are divided into 3 categories, say A, B and C. The classification is mainly based on the company's annual package.  Category A: more than or equal to INR 2.3 lakh, Category B: ranges between INR. 1.9 to 2.3 lakh and Category C: less than or equal to INR 1.9 lakh. For example, a student selected in a category of Company C may also can participate in Company A or B.
