Rani Channamma University School Of Applied Sciences

The Government of Karnataka founded Rani Channamma University School Of Applied Sciences in 2010. The university is a very young university affiliated with 389 colleges, 4 autonomous colleges, and 1.35 Lakhs of student enrollment on an approx. This is a state university approved by AICTE and is recognized by UGC. The college's name came into light after Kittur Rani Chennamma, the queen of the princely state of Karnataka, Kittur. In south India, the university is ranked as one of the top 10 colleges. The university is constructed on a small hillock free from air pollution and noise pollution.

The college campus is spread across 172 acres serving the academic building, staff quarters, classrooms, library, and laboratory, and hostel accommodation for both boys and girls. In 2020 the University was celebrating its decennial year imparting education B.Sc. at bachelor’s and M.Sc. at post-graduation level with various specializations. As many as extracurricular activities are held, and clubs are formed where students have a huge exposure to showcase their talents.
