KLS Institute of Management Education and Research was shortly popularized as KLSIMER. It is one of the famous private management colleges in Belgaum, Karnataka. It started its functioning in 1991. The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated with RCUB, Belgavi. NAAC accredits it with an A grade.

Based on academic excellence, KLS IMER has been ranked and recognized by many ranking authorities in the past years, i.e. IndiaToday has been given the 214th position for its MBA results as of 2023. For the overall performance as a management institute, it was given 54th rank by TOI in 2022.

The most popular and best program offered by the college is the MBA. It is a PG program for those who have graduated from a recognized university. The institute has world-class faculty members to give the best academic results every year. Students from the reserved background also get scholarship provisions that help them financially. The admission criteria for an MBA seat will depend on the entrance test scores like KMAT and K-PGCET. Further, the college will conduct GD and PI rounds for selections.

KLS IMER offers a level management program called MBA with different specializations. The elective subjects are Finance, Marketing, and HRM. AICTE and UGC approve the whole curriculum of the MBA program. The applications must be submitted manually or by post. So, the students can visit the college to collect the form, and they can choose the elective as well.  

The essential requirement to gain admission to KLS IMER for an MBA course is a bachelor's degree with more than 50% marks for general and 45% for reserved categories like SC/ST. The students are provided with admissions at KLS IMER based on the MAT, CAT, KMAT, and KPGCET scores. KLS Institute of Management Education & Research fees for the MBA program is INR 50,000 per annum. The total fees will be approx 1 lakh.

KLS Institute of Management Education and Research Admission Process

Only eligible students can apply for MBA seats in this college. The application form for admission to KLS IMER should be done offline. The form can be obtained from the college campus's admission office or downloaded from the KLS website.  

Students must fill in the form manually and attach the photo. Along with that, they must also submit copies of documents like a 10+2 marks card, Entrance exam score card, DOB, Caste certificate (if applicable), Government ID proof, etc., in the required format. The form payment has to be done in cash or DD within the given specified format. 

After the last day of form submission, students will be shortlisted after form verification is done. Next, they would be called for PI rounds. The admission authorities will then send confirmation mail or message to selected individuals about the commencement of classes and more.
