Pravara Centre For Management Research & Development (PCMRD) was established 1980 as a private educational Institute. It is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU).

Its vision is to teach human values to the students and make them capable of leading society in a globalized world. It aims to become one of the country’s premier institutes by imparting quality education relevant to the real world as its guiding principle.

The PCMRD campus is spread across 4 acres of land. The campus surroundings are a hive of activity with state-of-the-art teaching aids and well-equipped classrooms. Pravara Centre for Management Research & Development Courses admissions

PCMRD offers an MBA program under the management stream with different specializations. It is a 2 years program for students willing to pursue higher studies. Students who have done their BBA or other degree in any discipline from a recognized University are eligible for the MBA program.

To be eligible for admissions, candidates must have qualified for national or state-level entrance exams like CAT/ MAT/ XAT, etc. or its equivalent. PCMRD cut-off for MBA through MAT is 75. Selections will be based on written tests, GD and PI rounds.

The PCMRD fee structure for an MBA is INR 1 lakh per annum, and the total fees will be INR 2 lakhs approx.

The payment of fees can be made through DD in the name of the college or by card payment or net banking.  

Pravara Centre for Management Research & Development Placements 

PCMRD has a dedicated Placement Cell that takes care of the training and placement activities for the students. It organizes various Seminars, Guest Lectures, Workshops, Personality Development and Communication Skills Programs to prepare the candidates for placement.

Students are provided with internships and are also taken through special grooming classes to help them perform well in the job market. Generally, reputed MNCs visit the college for placements, and students from all streams get placed.

Some of the top companies that participate in the campus placements are Pravin Masale, LG Electronics, Shakti Pumps, Kirloskar Oil Engines, Kalyani Brakes Ltd, Thermax, Suzlon Energy, Videocon, Mercedes-Benz, Tata Auto Components, Kirloskar Brothers Ltd. The highest package recorded to date is 6 LPA, and the average package is INR 2 LPA.  

Pravara Centre For Management Research & Development Scholarships

The college provides scholarships to deserving students and also encourages the students to participate in various competitive examinations. The institute offers several scholarships to deserving candidates. Students can apply for the scholarship by submitting an application form.

The application fee is INR. 250, and the selection is based on the merit of the candidate. Applicants must have at least 50% marks in their graduation exam to be eligible for the scholarship. Those interested in pursuing a career in management can avail the scholarship and benefit from it.
