The institute organizes a week of MBA placement in the first months of the year, although pre-placement recruitment (PPO) begins much earlier. The preparatory process for on-the-job training for MCA aspirants generally begins each year in September. The process of selecting live projects is based on the interview with the companies. Apart from the placement in campus, some aspirants are selected through a job interview conducted by different companies (off campus drive).

As part of the academic curriculum, MBA and MCA students must join an organization during a 6-8 week MBA internship and a six-month MCA internship in summer and winter. The process of selecting summer training begins after completing the first semester of MBA aspirants. In addition internships and on-the-job training programs, several organizations such as Pepsi Co., Karvy Consultants Ltd, Apollo Tires, Sify, etc. They have used the group of talents of TIMT to solve several specific problems.
