Patiala Institute of Engineering & Technology

Patiala Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET) is a private institute which was started in the year 2009 for Women by the Dukhniwaran Educational and Social Welfare Society, Patiala. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar.

• The institute is the first to provide technical education in management and engineering field for women in the Malwa region.
• The institute offers B.Tech course in Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering, M.Tech course in Computer Science and Engineering, MBA in Marketing, Human Resource Management, Finance and General Management, B.Com and BCA.
• The candidates in order to get admissions for B.Tech have to clear JEE Main exam, GATE for M.Tech and CMAT for MBA courses in the institute.
