Thapar University Admission is based on the entrance test and academic merit. It accepts the valid scores of national-level exams to grant admission. TIET Conducts separate online entrance tests for BBA, BSc, and BA admission. Those who qualify in the Thapar University entrance test must undergo a personal interview. • Admission to the MBA in TIET is based on a student's performance in national-level aptitude tests.
• It accepts the valid scores of CAT, CMAT, GMAT, MAT, XAT, NMAT, or any equivalent exam. In addition to this, students must satisfy the Thapar University MBA Cut off.

• Visit the authorized website of the University. On the home page, click on the Admission tab.
• You will be able to view the Registration Form on the screen. As a basic step, you have to fill in all the details in the form.

• Aspirants who have cleared the GATE Exam can only avail of scholarships if AICTE releases the amount. (Applicable for Intake approved by AICTE)
• Candidates with a valid GATE score but not getting the scholarships from AICTE or other funding agencies will receive INR 12k per month from the university side.
• Non-GATE Students who have obtained above 70% in Bachelor's degree BE/B Tech are eligible to access merit scholarships.
