Nirma University (NU) was established in 2003. It functions under the sponsorship of the Nirma Education and Research Foundation. The campus is located in the city of Ahmedabad. It is near Gandhinagar. NU is a multidisciplinary student-centric university. Within a short period, NU developed as a nationally recognized institution. As a result, it has achieved prestigious rankings in multiple categories. NAAC accredited NU with an "A" Grade. Besides, it has been accredited by the NBA and SAQS. It is also a member of AIU. NU received the status of Centre of Excellence from the Gujarat Government. It has a host of component institutes, academic departments, and centers.
It offers UG, PG, Integrated, and Doctoral courses in Multiple streams. NU offers B Tech, B Com, B Arch, B.Des, and B. Pharm at the UG level. It offers MBA, MCA, MSc, M Pharm, LLM, and EPGDM at the PG level. In addition, it offers a five year integrated programs such as BBA+MBA, B.Com + LLB, BA+LLB, B Tech+MBA. UGC has recognized the Nirma University Courses.
Admission will be granted based on the entrance test scores and academic merit. NU accepts the valid scores of State or National level entrance tests. They are GUJCET, JEE Main, NATA, CLAT, GATE, CAT, GMAT. Nirma University B Tech Admission is based on the GUJCET score. Nirma MBA Admission is based on CAT or GMAT scores. NU also conducts written tests for a few courses. Applicants can fill out applications online mode.

Nirma University Course Admission
Candidates seeking admission must ensure the eligibility criteria before applying. Students who have passed 10+2 with min aggregate marks can apply for Nirma University UG Courses. Students who have finished their UG Degree in the concerned stream can apply for PG Courses. Eligible applicants will be able to fill out the Nirma University admission form.
- Candidates seeking admission at Nirma University for Engineering (B Tech) have to qualify in the GUJCET Entrance Test. It is a state-level exam conducted by GSHSEB.
- Students who qualify in GUJCET with a valid score can participate in ACPC Counselling rounds.
- Candidates can even apply for Nirma Admission through JEE Main scores. Such candidates are not required to appear for GUJCET. They can directly apply based on JEE scores.
- 50% of seats will be filled at NU through ACPC Counselling based on GUJCET rank. 35% of seats will be based on JEE Main score under the All India Category.
- Students who wish to apply for B Arch must apply based on their NATA score.
- Nirma University conducts a written test for B. Des, BBA+MBA, MCA, and MSc.
- Applicants seeking admission to the integrated LLB Programs must appear for CLAT. Admission to the LLM is based on PG CLAT scores.
- Admission to the MBA is based on a CAT or GMAT score followed by an Interview.
- Admission to M Tech is based on the GATE score. If candidates have not attempted GATE, they must appear for Nirma University Entrance Exam (Written Test)
- Students seeking admission to the M Pharm must appear for the GPAT Entrance Test.
- Admission to the B Pharm course is based on 10+2 merit followed by ACPC Counselling.
- NRI/Sponsored Categories can apply for Nirma University Direct Admission. 15% of seats are applicable.

- Nirma University comprises three hostel blocks, Two for Boys and One for Girls. More than 800 students can be accommodated.
- All the hostel rooms are spacious and well-furnished with modern amenities.
- Hostel facilities include a Mess, Multi-Purpose Hall, Student Activity Centre, Dining Hall, Laundry Service, etc
