Ahmedabad Institute of Technology Admission

AIT is established by Ashok Education landmark trust and got its affiliation with Gujarat Technological University and approval from the All-India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi. Established in 2004, AIT was ranked 32 among India's top 100 engineering colleges by Outlook India in 2019.
AIT provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering and management streams.

• At UG level, it offers BE and PG level it offers M Tech and MBA. Admission to the PG & UG courses in Ahmedabad College will be offered based on entrance test score.
• AIT follows the guidelines prescribed by ACPC. (Admission Committee for professional course)
• The final seat allocation takes place through the counselling phases conducted by ACPC.

Ahmedabad Institute of Technology BE admission:

AIT provides BE courses in engineering under seven different programmes, Automobile, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering.

• The duration of the course is four years. The annual intake of the BE/B Tech course is 30 seats.
• Candidates seeking admission in BE courses at AIT must attend state level entrance exam GUJCET or national level entrance exam JEE-Mains. In addition, students need to pass 10+2 with 45% marks.
• Candidates from SC, ST or SEBC categories, can obtain at least 40% in 10+2 level. As per the government norms. There will be a 5% of relexation.

Ahmedabad Institute of Technology ME admission:

AIT provides a full-time 2-year M.E. course under two different programmers Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering, spread over four semesters. Annual intake for M Tech is 12 seats per branch.

• Candidates seeking admission in ME programmers at AIT, must undertake state-level entrance exam PGCET or national level entrance exam GATE.
• In addition, candidates need to graduate with BE or B. Tech degree from any recognized university with 45% marks in aggregation from relevant branches.
• Students who qualify in the entrance exam have to undergo state-level counselling to secure seats under government quota. ACPC is responsible for conducting counselling.

Ahmedabad Institute of Technology MBA admission:

AIT provides a full time two years MBA course under management studies. The courses focus on aspects of management studies, Research and Innovation. Candidates seeking admission in MBA courses at AIT have to undergo national level entrance exams, CAT/GMAT/MAT/CMAT. In addition, candidates need to have a bachelor’s degree from any recognized university. The total intake at AIT is 120 students. ACPC would carry out the admission.

Ahmedabad Institute of Technology Application Process

The application process for AIT is online mode only. However, applicants seeking admission in B Tech, M Tech or MBA, must register themselves for the respective entrance exam through the official web portal.

• At first, applicants have to visit the main website of ACPC to download the Help Centers List.
• Then, they have to visit the designated help centers to purchase the Information Booklet and User PIN for the sake of registration purpose. Applicants have to pay INR 350 for B Tech course and INR 1000 for M Tech course.
• After the registration process concludes, students must submit the print out of the duly filled application form by attaching the relevant documents.
