Hasmukh Goswami College of Engineering was founded in the year 2007. The private engineering college is situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Affiliated by  GTU and approved by AICTE. HGCE offers Under Graduate courses in BE/B.Tech and Post Graduate courses in ME/M.Tech and MBA.

  • The candidates willing to pursue BE or B.Tech at HGCE have to take JEE Main and GUJCET entrance tests.
  • Admission to the ME or M.Tech at HGCE, students, has to take GATE, GPAT, and PGCET entrance tests.
  • For admission to the MBA at HGCE, students have to clear the CMAT Examination with a good percentile.
  • The institute will accept valid scores in the entrance examinations for admission.
  • For 50% of the seats, admission will be offered by Central Admission Committee (CAC) formed by the Gujarat government. And the rest, 50%, will be based on the management quota admission in Hasmukh Goswami College.

HGCE UG courses include BE/B.Tech with various specializations. Each specialization has different JEE Main and GUJCET cut-off ranks. If any candidate doesn't secure a valid rank, they can opt for a management quota for admission at HGCE.

  • The candidate needs to appear for either JEE Mains or GUJCET and perform well.
  • The candidate must have a valid score in either of these exams. The cut-off marks vary every year
  • The applicant must have scored a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 level.
  • Thus, the selection criteria for B Tech at HGCE depends on GUJCET rank and 10+2 merit.

Hasmukh Goswami College of Engineering M Tech/MBA Admission
HGCE PG courses include ME/M.Tech and MBA in multiple specializations. The admission procedure varies for both the course.
For choosing M.Tech,

  • The candidate must appear for either of these examinations: GATE/GPAT/PGCET
  • In addition, candidates must obtain 50% aggregate marks in bachelor's degree B Tech or equivalent.

For choosing MBA,

  • The candidate has to appear for the CMAT examination.
  • The candidate needs to score a minimum of 50% in their bachelor's degree.
  • For the final selection procedure, shortlisted students have to appear for GD/PI rounds.

Hasmukh Goswami College of Engineering Application Process
The mode of the HGCE application process is both online & offline mode. HGCE follows the norms prescribed by AICTE and Gujarat Government for granting admission to the UG & PG courses. According to the norms, 50% seats will be filled through CAC (Central Admission Committee). This procedure takes place via online. Whereas, remaining 50% of seats for the management quota admission process will take place in offline.
Online:

  • CAC will initiate the online admission procedure. Booklet/PINs are distributed from designated bank branches. Then, candidates can apply for online registration.
  • The applicants have to fill up the required details like personal details, address, contact number, education details, etc.
  • The next page will lead to the payment process. The applicants may fill up the details and click on submit.

Offline:
If any candidate wants to apply through the management quota at HGCE, he/she can visit the institute and complete the admission process offline. However, applicants are required to contact the admission committee for the same.
