Nalanda Open University

Nalanda Open University (NOU) is a premier institution of higher learning in Bihar, India. Established in 1987, it is the only open University in the state. Nalanda Open University Learning Methodology

1. The University provides all course study material to the students, consisting of online and audio-video resources. Students can learn individually and at their own pace, thanks to how the study materials are made.
2. The University has an online learning management system that allows students to access study materials, interact with faculty, and participate in online discussions. It allows students to access the resources anytime, anywhere, and engage in self-paced learning. 
3. Nalanda Open University Examinations: The University's distance learning courses follow an odd-even semester structure. For even and odd semesters, respectively, end-of-semester exams are held in December and July. Usually, the results are posted on the university website a few days after the end-of-semester exams. The Nalanda Open University Admit Card will also be available on the website.
4. The examinations are conducted fairly and transparently, and strict anti-cheating measures are implemented to maintain the credibility of the degree.
5. To keep pace with technological advancements and provide a seamless learning experience, NOU has embraced ICT (Information and Communication Technology).
