MCM DAV College for Women, Chandigarh

The full name of the college is Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College, and this is a women’s college that completed its five decades of establishment and was started with the efforts of the Managing Committee of the DAV College. The founder of the college was the earlier chief justice of the country. He was a great nationalist, an administrator with par excellence social activist, and a committed educationist.

• The college is highly famous for the prime academic programs, cultural, intellectual vigor, and moral sensitivity with the dedicated faculties and the students' achievements.

Student Life:

• There are many supporting services for grooming the students. There are different cells like Grievance and character-building cells in the college. There are lockboxes in the college to communicate the grievance and the other cell builds the moral values in the students.
• There is a literacy club for women empowerment. NCC and NSS units are there to build the spirit of fraternity and quality of leadership in the students and understand the social environment.
