Lakshmibai College

The Institute is a constituent of Delhi University, established in 1965, located in Delhi. The Institute of LBC focuses on providing education to Women candidates. The Institute is affiliated with the University of Delhi and runs under the Govt of Delhi. AICTE approves the Institute, and it is recognized by UGC that has ranked at 36th position for Arts by India Today. The Institute has a very determined and dedicated faculty team who are committed to their job. The faculties are not only restricted only to teach by the books. The Institute of LBC is spread over 10 acres with lush green land with modern facilities to make students better on the campus. Along with a magnificent campus, the Institute offers several courses in UG and PG programs. In addition, the College also provides few add-on programs in various disciplines.

• The Institute has SAFA software downloaded to differently-abled students on their computers for them to learn typing.
• LBC has different departments like Science, Economics, Commerce, Hindi, English, Mathematics, History and Home Science.
• Add-on programs like Diploma, Certificate and several programs in a foreign language, Vedic Mathematics, Machine Learning, Women & Legal Literacy are provided by the Institute.
• The faculty provides guidance and motivates the students to participate in various other activities than academics.
• The Institute offers B. Sc (Hons), BA, BA (Hons), B. Com, B. Com Hons, under the UG program and MA under PG program with various disciplines.
• Admission for program offers by the Institute will be through merit, cut off and entrance exam scores based.
• Applicants will have to reach the cut-off scores and merit in the qualifying examination to get admission at LBC.

• The facilities like Staff accommodation, Internet facilities, sports, library, classrooms, seminar halls, labs, Auditoriums are provided at the Institute.
• Candidates at LBC will be entitled to write and publish English, Hindi, Punjabi, Sanskrit magazines in the Institute.
• LBC offers seats for the candidates under the sports category and seats for ECA sub-activities.
• The Institute also has a dedicated placement cell team who are recklessly working to provides as many opportunities as possible to the candidates.

LBC has a centre for organizing placement cell activities to provide various opportunities and a better future for eligible candidates. These activities are primarily designed for final year students with interaction sections, meetings, and seminars combined with various reputed activities. • Post Matric Scholarships:Candidates who belong to SC / ST category will be awarded this scholarship.
• Merit Scholarship:This Scholarship is awarded for the top three students of 1st and 2nd year in the University examination.
• The Institute also provides University Merit Scholarships for the candidates who get admission at LBC.
