Jabalpur Engineering College

Jabalpur Engineering College was established in 1947 in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, and was previously known as Government Engineering College. The institute is the 15^th oldest institution in India providing engineering education and the British's last educational institution in India. The institute was granted autonomous status in the year 2014 by University Grants Commission.

Jabalpur Engineering College is attained 97^th rank by magazine Outlook India in the survey of Top 100 Engineering Colleges in India. The institute is ranked 55^th for Electronics and Telecommunication and 57^th for Mechanical department in magazine Silicon India. The institute is also graded AAA+ by Career 360.

Placement

Institute has a Placement committee and training center which offers industry-based training and career guidance for the aspirants. Placement cell offers summer internships & Professional training at several reputed Industries abroad and India to provide industry exposure within 45 days through specialized trainers.
