Institute of Management Technology is one of the leading business schools in India. IMT Hyderabad is an autonomous college offering campuses in 4 major cities Ghaziabad, Hyderabad, Dubai, and Nagpur. PGDM DCP course is offered only in Dubai Campus.

AACSB accredits the Institute of Management (IMT). IMT Hyderabad offers Post graduation diploma courses in management (PGDM).  It offers full-time, part-time, and executive PGDM along with a dual country program in PGDM.

Candidates interested in taking admission for the PGDM curse will have to possess a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in any stream. Students' selection for entries will be based on their academics and the performance in the university's interview.

Applications are accepted in IMT from September to January. IMT counseling process will be usually conducted in January last week, and other phases of admissions will be done in March.

IMT accepts Executive PGDM applications and Part-time PGDM in April or May.

IMT PGDM Admission Process:

IMT Hyderabad offers a PGDM program, a two-year course, and AICTE Approved. PGDM course is presented in a full-time course in specializations like Marketing and Finance. The eligibility for PGDM admissions candidates needs to have a Bachelor degree in which he/she should have secured 50% aggregate in any discipline.

Candidates who are still in their final year and appear for final examinations are also eligible for the PGDM course. Such candidates will have to submit the degree marks sheet before September mandatorily.

Note: the CMAT marks are applicable at Nagpur and Hyderabad campuses. The selection of candidates for admissions will be finally selected based on their academic performance, critical thinking, interview, and group discussions.

IMT Executive PGDM Admission process:

The executive PGDM program is a 15 months course and AICTE approved. The eligible candidates will have to register themselves by applying online. The basic eligibility is to have a minimum of 3 years' Bachelor’s Degree passed with no less than 50% aggregate. CAT/XAT or GMAT's valid exam score will be considered a significant admission parameter. Eligible candidates should also have a minimum of 5 years of work experience.

The application form should be filled online by providing correct educational and personal details. Test scores of GMAT, XAT, or CAT will be considered for PGDM Executive admissions. The shortlisted candidates will be finally called for an interview after their entry will be confirmed.

IMT Hyderabad Part-Time PGDM Admission Process:

IMT introduced a part-time PGDM course in 1981 and got accredited by AICTE. Candidates who are enrolled for this course can extend their course duration to 5 years if they have family or commitment to work.

The basic eligibility for taking admissions into Part-time PGDM is to have two years of post-graduation work experience along with a Bachelor’s degree. Candidates who have completed their Post-Graduation degree will need only work experience of 1 year.

The IMT Application forms for part-time PGDM are available on the college campus. Candidates can purchase the application form by filling the form online by paying the application fee of INR 2000. Candidates will be given a written assessment in which they will have to write an essay on economics and business studies and appear for an interview after that.
