Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology

Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology, which is shortly known as (IERT), situated in Allahabad, was bought up in 1955. And In the year 1962, it became the State's institution under Funding in Aid. This institute has been affiliated with U.P Technical University, Lucknow (UP). Consequently, in 1982, the institute was awarded academic self-government by the State Government.

• And the college campus is extents over 26.5 acres of land. And the college has sophisticated buildings, attractive landscaped expansive lawns, and well-placed roads.
• This institute imparts a separate hostel for boys and girls. Capacious Hostel is located near the Institution campus at the Ganges bank.
• This institute has faculties who are knowledgeable and experienced with various teaching and learning techniques.

The festival function called Udbhav is prearranged for the 30th of October every year. The purpose includes Chief Guest Speech, a vast range of melodic and cultural events with the college annual development report in instructors and curricular activities, and prize distribution ceremony in academics, sports, and other successful students remunerated for their involvement in the institute.

This institute organizes separate Training and placement cell, which is headed by a placement officer, which comprises student members from all the divisions who look after placement features. And many companies visit the campus, and students also go to numerous pool campuses for their placements.

The college nearby is filled with various things like museums, Café, temples, good restaurants, etc., where the students can spend the time.
