J.K. Institute of Applied Physics & Technology (JKIAP) was started in 1956 located in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The Institute is affiliated with the University of Allahabad. JKIAP is a department committed to impart appropriate technical education for aspirants. Late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru invented the college through J.K. Charitable Trust. JKIAP is one of the familiar institutes in North India in Electronics & Computer Science. College alumni are in reputed positions in several domains all over India & abroad. The institute's vision is to provide appropriate technical education for aspirants and develop them as competitive technocrats.

• JKIAP offers Under Graduate Course BE/B Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science Engineering and B.Sc. Course in Computer Science. Institute also offers Post Graduate Course in ME/M Tech in Computer Science and Electronics & Communication.
• JKIAP fees structure for BE/B Tech is INR 1.40 Lakhs Per annum, fees for ME/M Tech is INR 70,000, and fees structure for B.Sc. is INR 1.05 Lakhs Per annum
• JKIAP Admissions for BE/B Tech will be based on the candidates' score acquired in JEE Main Entrance Exam, and the admission process for ME/M Tech will be based on the candidates' score obtained in GATE Entrance Exam. Application forms are available in both online & offline mode.
• JKIAP Placement cell has an objective to arranges guest lecture through eminent industry experts to update the latest trends in the domain of technology among candidates and also organizes summer internship programs, and imparts industry oriented training to improve employability skills towards candidates
