Haranahalli Ramaswamy Institute of Higher Education was established in salagame Road Hassan in 2007 in the rambling campus of 2.28 Acres. It was established under the Malnad Technical Education Society's auspices with the reminiscence of prodigious farsighted & Gandhian Sri Haranahalli Ramaswamy. The institute offers 2 UG and 2 PG courses affiliated with the University of Mysore. Since its inception, the institute's students have been securing medals, ranks, and cash prizes at the university's levels.
