Admission to the Gandhigram Rural Institute UG courses is merit and CUET. Candidates must have cleared their 10+2 examination  from a recognized board with a least of 50% marks in aggregate. For admission to B Tech, candidates must participate in TNEA Counselling. Seats will be allotted based on 10+2 merit rank.

No entrance exam is needed for the B.Com program. The only basic criterion is to have passed board exams in any stream with a min of 50% mark.
