Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University-DBATU is a state university in Lonere, Maharashtra, India. It was established in 1989 to promote education and research in engineering and technology. The University is named after B. R. Ambedkar, a social reformer and draftsman of the Indian Constitution.
DBATU offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various disciplines, such as engineering, technology, management, and computer applications. The University has eight faculties, including engineering, technology, science, management, humanities, social sciences, law, and education. The courses offered by Ambedkar Technological University are designed to develop technical, managerial, and analytical skills among students to meet the global job market demands.
More than 240 colleges are affiliated with DBATU, and more than one lakh students are enrolled. The University has a sprawling campus of over 525 acres, with state-of-the-art infrastructure, modern laboratories, and research facilities. In addition, the campus has a well-stocked library, auditorium, sports facilities, and hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The University also has a technology incubation centre to encourage entrepreneurship among students and faculty.

DBATU offers three UG programmes in engineering, technology, pharmacy, and architecture. BTech and BPharm programmes are four years long, whereas BArch is a five-year programme. Candidates seeking admission to the UG or PG Courses at DBATU must ensure the admission criteria before completing the application form. Admissions is based on an entrance test. JEE Main/ MHT CET and NATA scores determine admission to B.tech and B.Arch programmes. In addition, a valid GATE and GPAT score are necessary for the M.Tech. and M.Pharm. degrees.
