Amar Singh College

Amar Singh College Srinagar, previously known as Amar Singh Technical College, is a college providing all the necessary courses. It was established in 1913 at the location of Wazir Bagh, Srinagar. Later in 1942, the college was renamed. It is recognized by UGC and accredited by NAAC with B++ Grade. The college is affiliated with Kashmir University and the Cluster University Of Srinagar. The college's vision is to empower youth through education and the proper development of skills to face future challenges in life. Moreover, ASC is a nodal college for the Kashmir Division, which acts as a liaison between the higher education departments and about 50 government colleges.

ASC is among the leading educational institutes of Jammu & Kashmir. The focus is on excellence, competence, and educational leadership in academics. Amar Singh College Courses are available in various streams, such as Science, Commerce, Arts, Computer Applications, and Geography. In addition, it includes different departments providing six lecture theatres & halls for the conduct of examinations.

The Amar Singh college hostel provides rooms only for male candidates, helping accommodate approximately 100 students. Proper meals are provided to those residing in the hostels.
