Akal College of Nursing

Akal College of Nursing was founded in the year 2008 by Kalgidhar Trust, situated in Sirmour, Himachal Pradesh, in the northern part of India. The institute is affiliated with Eternal University, Sirmour, and approved by Himachal Pradesh Nursing Council Registration and Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. The main objective of the Akal College is to train the students as professionally skilled & dedicated nurses by imparting quality of education in the nursing domain and prepare the candidates to face several challenges while interpreting the nursing care at the main, secondary, and tertiary stages. The journey of the candidates in Akal College is shaped through the variety of experiences that concludes academic studies & activities, volunteer work, and extra-curricular and co-curricular activities.

• Akal College of Nursing offers an undergraduate course, B.Sc. in Nursing, for the duration of four years with a total intake capacity of 60 students annually. It offers Post Graduate Course M. Sc.in Nursing for the duration of two years with an intake capacity of 24 students each year.
• M.Sc. Program clinical specialties at Akal College are Obstetric & Gynaecological Nursing, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Cardiothoracic Nursing, and Oncology.
