• Minimum eligibility required for admission into B. Sc program is that candidate must have passed 10+2 level or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
• The final selection for admission is based on candidates' scores in the entrance examination conducted by the college. 1^st preference will be given in order of merit in the 10+2 qualifying examination of all the candidates irrespective of Himachali Bonafide status who have appeared in the B. Sc Nursing Entrance Test. 
• M. Sc at Akal College of Nursing is two years duration program. Female candidates with B. Sc Nursing/ Post Basic Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks can apply for admission into the M. Sc program.
• The total number of seats available for the M. Sc program at Akal College of Nursing is 20 seats per annum.
