UG admissions in HPU

Some of the UG courses offered in HPU are BBA, BDS, BCA, MBBS, BHM, and LL.B. Each class is provided with its specializations. All the applicants must follow the eligibility criteria to submit their forms. Any UG degree requires 10+2 board exam scores at min of 50% in all core subjects. It should include compulsory subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

For getting seats in BDS and MBBS, candidates must have taken up the NEET exam with satisfactory scores. Few other UG courses will have their respective entrance exam on a merit basis. HPU conducts GD and PI rounds for the final selection of students.

PG admissions in HPU

HPU is well known for offering Postgrad degrees like LLM, MBA, MMC, MTA, MRD, M.Com, MCA, M-Tech, and PGDMC programs, among all the other courses.

Applicants willing to get admissions in HPU for PG courses must have a relevant degree certificate with aggregate CGPA in the interested subject specialization. Most of the PG programs will require percentages ranging between 45-55% in their UG.

Applicants submitting the form for admissions to the MBA, LL.M, MCA, M.Com, MMC, and PGDMC courses in HPU must have a degree qualification. Along with this, they must have valid scores in the required entrance exam accepted in HPU.

MA & M.Sc. Admissions in HPU

• Himachal Pradesh University offers the MA and M.Sc. courses at the postgraduate level. The MA course is being provided under 15 specializations, and the M.Sc. degree is being supplied under six disciplines.
• Candidates who are holders of a Bachelor’s degree, from a recognized university, under a relevant stream are eligible to apply for the respective MA or M.Sc. courses at HPU.
• Seats to the following MA and M.Sc. subjects will be allotted based on performance in an entrance test conducted by HPU.

B.Ed. & M.Ed. Admission HPU

Some of the significant essential courses in HPU are B.Ed. And M.Ed. Studies in various specializations. The eligibility criteria for these courses will need a UG and PG degree with an average aggregate or min of 55%. For reserved category applicants by reducing it by 5% for physically challenged candidates.

M.Phil. and Ph.D. admissions in HPU

The M.Phil. And Ph.D. programs at the doctorate level in HPU offer around 21 specializations, and they offer 14 majors in Ph.D. courses. Applicants having a bachelor's and a PG degree in any relevant studies will be eligible to apply for these programs. They must require a minimum of 55% in their last qualifying exam in their degree courses.

Ans: HPU MAT is for Business School of HP University as a Management Aptitude Test for MBA admissions. The application fee for the same is INR 1000 for the gen candidates, and for reserved category (ST/ SC) candidates, it is INR 500

Q. What is the HPU MAT exam pattern?

Ans: HPU MAT is an offline exam for two hours. The paper has four parts with 200 questions for a total of 200 marks. The paper has DI, English comprehension, business environment, reasoning, and arithmetic comprehension with no negative marking.
