The Oxford College of Engineering was started by S. Narasa Raju in the year 1974 and is run by Children’s Education Society. The college is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum. The aim is to provide training and education to the students in business administration, computer application and engineering field. The college has highly professional faculties striving hard to achieve academic excellence as per VTU curriculum.

I am pursuing BE in Mechanical Engineering and right now am in final year. The Oxford College of Engineering admissions for BE course will be provided actually on the basis of KCET Entrance Exam score through counseling as per the cut off eligibility I got admission in this college. I took admission at this college through KCET score. The eligibility criteria set by this institute for B.Tech admission was completion of 12th from a recognized board with minimum of 50% aggregate score in mandatory exams like physics, chemistry and mathematics. The B.Tech admission was done on the basis of KCET counselling.

The admission process and fee details

  • Admission is on the basis of KCET exam score.
  • Selection On the basis of merit as per the Karnataka state Government rule.
  • The candidate shall have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks in case of SC/ST candidates)and shall have completed PUC, 10+2, or its equivalent with English as one of the languages. 
  • The fee will be around INR 5.20lakhs for 4years.
