The Oxford College of Engineering admission of mine was made through the CET for BE course. Admission process will start every year in the month July-August. The admission is also made directly for the once opting for management quota. I choose mechanical engineering as that’s where my interest was in.

I took admission at this college through KCET score. The eligibility criteria set by this institute for B.Tech admission was completion of 12th from a recognized board with minimum of 50% aggregate score in mandatory exams like physics, chemistry and mathematics. The B.Tech admission was done on the basis of KCET counselling.

Candidates for B.Tech admission to OCE must have completed their 10+2 examinations and qualified for the KCET or JEE-Main test. Students who want to apply for B.Tech or BE programs must take the KCET. The application fee is paid by a challan, and students from outside Karnataka must pay INR 750. Students who meet the cut-off put up by the college shall only be eligible to take seats in the college. The annual fee structure of B.Tech at OCE is INR 1.30 lakhs each year. So, the complete four years fee shall be INR 5.20 lakhs.

The admission process and fee details

  • Admission is on the basis of KCET exam score.
  • Selection On the basis of merit as per the Karnataka state Government rule.
  • The candidate shall have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks in case of SC/ST candidates)and shall have completed PUC, 10+2, or its equivalent with English as one of the languages. 
  • The fee will be around INR 5.20lakhs for 4years.
