The Government Sri Krishnarajendra Silver Jubilee Technological Institute, Bangalore, (SKSJTI) was established in 1938 and is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, Karnataka State. GSKSJTI currently offers its students four B.Tech courses for undergraduate engineering and an M. Tech program for the post-graduate level of studies. The college is dedicated to creating an atmosphere that fosters students and faculty to excel in learning, research, holistic development, and entrepreneurial leadership.

SKSJTI B.Tech Admission         

BE/B Tech at SKSJTI is available in four disciplines. Candidates who have passed the second year Pre-University or XII standard/10+2 from any recognized board or an equivalent examination are eligible to apply for admission to the B Tech 1st year admission at SKSJTI.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate must have received a minimum of 45% in 10+2 in the aggregate, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • In applicants belonging to SC/ST and OBC candidates from Karnataka, the minimum marks for qualifying must be 40%.

Selection Criteria

  • The selection of the aspirants for the B.Tech program at GSKSJTI is done based on the marks obtained in Karnataka CET and counselling conducted by the DTE Karnataka.
  • All candidates shall have to apply through KCET and its respective counselling only. Thus, admission to the B Tech at SKSJTI is strictly based on KCET Rank.
  • At first, students have to register online for KCET Exam by logging into KEA Website. Then, after qualifying in the entrance test with a valid rank, they can attend KCET Counselling.
  • To secure a B Tech admission seat at SKSJTI, candidates must satisfy the SKSJTI's KCET Cut off norms defined by the authority.
  • Here, admission will be entirely based on VTU/KEA norms since it is a public college.

Application Process

  • By accessing the KCET website, candidates can apply for the Karnataka CET.
  • The KCET website has an information booklet that can be downloaded.
  • Candidates must first select "New User?" from the drop-down menu. Then, click the "Click Here to Register" tab on the KEA website's home page. They must next complete and submit the candidate registration form with all the needed information.
  • At this time, you will be granted a unique registration number and User ID.
  • Candidates must next complete and submit the online Application form after providing all of the needed information as outlined in the information pamphlet.
  • The application cost can be paid online using an e-Challan.

SKSJTI M.Tech Admission

SKSJTI offers its students an M. Tech course in Highway Technology and Structure Engineering (Civil). The annual intake for M Tech is 12 seats per branch.

  • The minimum eligibility criteria for M.tech program admission to the SKSJTI  is a graduate degree in engineering in any relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate mark.
  • Aspirants shall apply to the SKSJTI M.Tech program through a valid KPGCET rank.
  • M.Sc. candidates are also eligible to apply for the GSKSJTI M. Tech program.
  • Also, candidates with valid GATE scores can secure M Tech admission seats. Such candidates will be exempted from appearing in PGCET.
  • However, candidates seeking admission in SKSJTI for M Tech have to apply through PGCET Counselling. The final seat allocation takes place through counselling sessions.

Sri Krishnarajendra Silver Jubilee Technological Institute accepts KCET cut-off scores for admissions. The allotted cut-off rank for B-Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering is 24842.
