Eligibility Requirements

  • Candidates seeking admission in the B.Tech program at SCTIT must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as mandatory 3 out of 4 subjects from any recognized board of education.
  • Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% marks in aggregation. For the students belonging to the reserved category, the aggregate marks would be 40%.

Selection Criteria

  • Candidates aspiring to take the B.Tech courses at SCT Institute of Technology have to appear in the state-level common entrance exam, KCET.
  • After qualifying good score in KCET, students can participate in KEA Counselling. Seat allocation will be based on student's KCET rank and choice of preference.
  • Candidates' selection will be based on the rank secured in the entrance exam. Selected candidates will be called for the counselling round inside campus.

SCT Institute of Technology MBA & MCA Admission

  • At the PG level, SCT College offers admission to the MBA & MCA courses.
  • Candidates who have completed a bachelor's degree in any stream can apply for MBA.
  • While for MCA, candidates must complete their UG degree BCA/BSc (Computer science) or any equivalent degree along with Mathematics as the main subject.
  • The selection criteria for MBA depends on student's performance in PGCET, KMAT, CAT, MAT and GMAT scores
  • Whereas, for MCA students will be selected based on academic merit as well as entrance test that is PGCET conducted by KEA.
