Sapthagiri College of Engineering Admission

Sapthagiri college of engineering was started back in 2001 in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The college aims to provide the best admission to all students pursuing degrees in the college. The college is spread over 13 acres, and it has some excellent facilities. Sapthagiri college has an affiliation with Visvesvaraya technology university, Belgaum. AICTE approves the undergraduate and postgraduate degrees that are offered here. SCE offers admission to the B Tech and M Tech at UG & PG levels in engineering & technology streams. NAAC accredits SCE with an 'A' Grade. The SCE has been listed in "India’s Most Trusted Educational Institutes.”

SCE BE/B Tech Admission

Sapthagiri college of engineering offers eight specialization courses in the B.Tech Program. SCE has highly qualified faculty for the BE Courses, and they also train the students for their jobs and interviews.

SCE BE Eligibility Criteria

At SCE, Admission for B Tech  is available for those students who have done ;

10 + 2 /PUC/ higher secondary competed. Your aggregate should be at least 45 percent in mathematics, physics, chemistry/ biology / Biotechnology/information science/computer science. The students should also have attempted COMEDK or KCET as it is a state entrance exam for engineering and other courses.

SCE BE Selection criteria

• 25 percent of the seats are filled with the management quota, 30 percent are filled through COMEDK, and 45 percent through CET.
• Candidates seeking admission under the KCET quota have to perform well in the entrance test with an eligible rank equivalent to the SCE’s KCET Cut off the rank.
• After the result declaration, candidates must undergo KCET Counselling to secure admission under the KCET quota at Sapthagiri College.
• Non-Karnataka applicants can write COMEDK Entrance Test. At the same time, students seeking admission under Management Quota at SCE Bangalore can fill out the form by visiting directly to the college campus.
• For management seats, candidates must satisfy the minimum eligibility norms defined by the college. For the same, the seat will be allotted through merit-based counseling at a college campus.

SCE M Tech Admission

GCE offers four specialization courses in M.Tech; the duration of each course is two years. The intake capacity and fee structure are given below-

M. Tech Eligibility criteria

If you wish to be admitted to this course, you must do your B. Tech/ BE or an equivalent in the relevant domain. The bachelor's degree should be passed with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate for general merit, and 45 percent should be the aggregate minimum for the SC/ST.

M. Tech selection criteria

The students should have a good Karnataka PGCET rank. Candidates can also apply via GATE valid score. The majority of the intake will be filled through KEA’s PGCET rank, followed by counseling, and the remaining 20 percent will get filled up through the management quota.
