Sai Vidya Institute of Technology is a private institute that was established in 2008. The institute was founded and managed by the trust, Sri Sai Vidya Vikas Shikshana Samithi. SVIT is affiliated with the renowned public university located in Belgaum, Karnataka Visvesvaraya Technological University. The college is approved by the University Grant Commission (UGC), the Government of Karnataka, and by the AICTE, New Delhi. SVIT offers full-time on-campus BE courses in the field of Engineering and Technology. The total seats for the candidates in the B.Tech courses at SVIT is 540.  The BE courses are offered at SVIT under seven different specializations, which are as follows,

Eligibility Criteria

• The eligibility criteria for BE courses at SVIT require students to pass 10+2 or any equivalent exam from any recognized education board or pre-university. The compulsory subjects should be Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

• Candidates are required to score a minimum of 45% marks in aggregation. For the candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, the minimum marks would be 40%.

Selection Criteria

• Candidates seeking admission in the BE courses have to appear in the state-level common entrance exam conducted by the Karnataka government, KCET.
• There will be two types of admission seats that is government and management.
• Candidates seeking B Tech admission under the government quota at SVIT have to apply through KCET Counselling. Moreover, to be eligible, candidates have to meet the KCET cut off norms.
• Candidates can also apply in the BE courses at SVIT under the management quota. The evaluation will be made based on the merit scored in the last qualifying academic exam for admission via management quota.

• Candidates seeking admission in the BE courses at SVIT can visit the institute's official website and download the application form from there. In addition, candidates can also collect the application form from the administration department of SVIT.
• After filling up all the details in the application form, candidates should submit it by paying the application fees.

Sai Vidya Institute of Technology MBA admission

• Sai Vidya Institute of Technology offers an MBA course full-time and is held on-campus.
• The MBA course is offered at SVIT under the general stream at the PG level.
• The admission in the MBA courses at Sai Vidya Institute is merit-based and entrance exam-based.
• Candidates have to undertake the common entrance exam KMAT or KPGCET. The admission in the MBA program via the entrance exam.
• The evaluation of candidates for admission in the MBA courses at SVIT through the management quota will be based on the merit achieved by the students.
• Candidates willing to take admission in the MBA courses at SVIT must hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
