Royal Academy for Technical Education, commonly known as RATE, was established in 1931 and is the premier college for providing technical education. This institute provides technical education at under graduation level at an affordable cost to provide education to all the community. RATE is approved by AICTE and affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU).

RATE offers courses at the under-graduation level, i.e., Bachelor of engineering in various streams such as Computer science, Electronics, Telecommunication, etc., to provide healthy solid formation in the preferred streams of interest.

Entrance exams are vital for all the contenders who want to take admissions in any course. These exams are conducted to check the eligibility of the aspirants.
