- B-Tech is a 4-year UG program for engineering aspiring students. The courses are available in 5 different specializations like CSE, AI and Machine Learning, EEE, ECE and Mechanical Engineering. NHCE B-Tech fees is INR 15 lakhs for the entire program.
- M-Tech course duration is for 2 years. NHCE offers M-Tech in CSE specialization. The course fee structure is INR 2 lakhs for the entire program.
- MBA and MCA are other popular non-engineering programs. Both the course duration of 2 years. In NHCE, they are available in the general stream and have no specializations. Also, the fee structure for both the course is 7 lakhs for the entire program.
New Horizon College of Engineering Admission Process:
The NHCE, Bangalore admission process for academic programs is quite structured and follows common steps that can be easily understood by the applicants easily. They are:
- Students are supposed to check the minimum eligibility criteria specified for each of the courses before applying for admission. I.e.; for UG courses, it will be 10+2 board exams, and for PG courses, it is usually to have a graduation degree from recognized University.
- Based on the choice of courses, students must appear for the relevant entrance exam for the academic year 2026. The accepted entrance exams are KCET/ PGCET at the state level. At the national level, the college accepts COMED K/ GATE/ KMAT scores.
- Based on entrance exam scores, students can then register for the concerned counselling process conducted by the exam authorities.
- In the counselling process, students are supposed to do choice filling as well, in which, students must enter New Horizon College of Engineering's name as their preferred college for B-Tech admissions.

New Horizon College of Engineering B-Tech admissions through KCET:
- KCET is an entrance exam at state-level for domicile students of Karnataka.
- KCET 2026 will be held on April 23 and 24, 2026. Registrations are currently ongoing and will close by February 17, 2026.
- KCET is conducted by KEA, followed with counselling rounds as well. Majority of the B-Tech seats, i.e. 45% of them, are provided for students with an appropriate KCET cut-off rank.
- As per the previous year reference, the accepted New Horizon College of Engineering KCET cut-off rank is 12192-13050.
New Horizon College of Engineering B-Tech admissions through COMEDK:
- While primary B-Tech admissions will take place through KCET, the COMEDK is also accepted for B-Tech admissions.
- It is a national level exam for all Indian students looking for B-Tech admissions in private engineering colleges of Karnataka.
- COMED K 2026 will be held on May 09, 2026. And the applications must be sent by March 16, 2026.
- After the exam, students will have to attend counselling rounds and, based on seat allocation, join the concerned college.
- Approximately 30% of total B-tech seats will be given based on the COMED K cut-off rank.
- As per the previous records, the accepted overall cut-off rank can range from 6 K to 10 K.
New Horizon College of Engineering B-Tech Management Quota admissions:
Students looking for B-Tech admissions in NHCE with less scores from the entrance exam can approach for direct or management quota seats. Here,
- The applicants must send in the applications directly by visiting the official website of the college.
- Fill in the form with both personal and educational information as specified.
- They must attach the required documents as well in scanned or digital format.
- The college authority will then conduct an internal counselling process, followed by document verification. Seats will then be allotted based on availability.
- B-Tech course fees will be quite high under the management quota when compared to the government quota seats.

B-Tech:
- Complete 10th and 12th board exams with min of 50% in the science stream in core subjects like PCM is the minimum educational qualification.
- As per the age criteria, the minimum age to appear for B-Tech is 17 years as per the academic year.
- The NHCE selection criteria for B-Tech program are to have secured a valid cut-off rank in entrance exams like KCET/ COMEDK.
NHCE PG courses:
M-Tech:
- It is PG level course for the duration of 2 years. To be eligible for the M-Tech program, students must have completed their bachelor’s degree (B-Tech) from recognized University and secured min of 50% marks.
- NHCE admissions will be provided based on selection criteria like GATE scores.
- The minimum age criterion to apply for admissions is 21 years.
MBA and MCA
- MBA is another common and popular PG program opted by students under the management stream. MCA can be opted for by students looking to pursue higher studies in Computer Applications.
- Students must have completed their UG degree in any stream from a recognized University and secured min of 50% marks.
- NHCE will accept entrance exams like PGCET/ KMAT/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT etc., as admission criteria.

I appeared for B.Tech course through KCET entrance exam. I applied for Information science but since my score was good I managed to get through computer science engineering. The cut off for Information science at this institute was 12971 and for computer science the cut off fro general category was 8760 in KCET.
