The Institute is shortly known as JIT, established in 2011, Chennai. JIT provides technical education to improve the ability and skills of the students. The college aims at working relentlessly to become a pioneer in providing education. The curriculum of the Institute is designed for present day's needs. JIT is dedicated in offers instruction in the field of technology to infuse knowledge among young minds. The Institute offers a Bachelor of Engineering with four disciplines to eligible students.

• Admission for the UG course at JIT is based on JEE Main / TNEA / Anna University entrance exam.
• The Institute offers a B. Tech / BE course with four specializations for four years.
• B. Tech Lateral course is also offered with four disciplines for three years.
• Final Admission for B. Tech or BE course is based on Merit, counselling conducted by AU and JIT.  
• Anna University will send the final list of selected students to the Institute for the further admission process.
• AICTE approves the courses offered by JIT.

Jeppiaar Institute of Technology B. Tech and BE course Admission 

The Institute of JIT offers a B. Tech / BE course in four disciplines for four years. The Institute provides 60 seats for students per academic year.  

• Eligibility for B. Tech / BE course at JIT, candidates must have scored 45% marks in the 10+2 exam with PCM as main subjects. 
• Admission for BE at JIT is based on GATE scores and TNEA counselling conducted by AU.
• Eligibility for BE lateral course at JIT, students must have passed diploma or B.Sc degree with Maths as compulsory subjects. 
• Candidates who belong to OBC / ST and SC category must have passed with 40% marks. 

Jeppiaar Institute of Technology Application Process

Admission for the UG course at JIT is available on the official website of the Institute. Candidates seeking admission will have to apply online.

• Candidates will have to register online for the relevant courses.
• Applicants must enter personal details, academic details and upload scanned documents to the application form.
• Pay the application fees of JIT and attach the receipt to the application form.
• Submit the JIT application form to the Institute with the necessary details.
