Government College of Technology Coimbatore, known as Arthur Hope College of Technology, was founded in 1945 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. AICTE approves GCT, which is NAAC Accredited 'A' Grade Institute. The GCT was established to impart superior technical education to aspirants. College offers UG Courses in BE/B Tech and PG Courses in ME/M Tech & M.S.

The admission process for BE/B Tech will be done through TNEA & Counseling, and candidates must be eligible with minimum aggregate marks in the 10+2 Exam. In addition, candidates must appear for counseling which Anna University will arrange for further admission.

The admission process for ME/M Tech is done through the valid score obtained in GATE/TANCET Entrance Exam, and candidates must be completed a bachelor's degree in BE/B Tech with the required aggregate marks.

Reservation Criteria for Backward Classes, Scheduled Classes, Scheduled Tribes, and De-notified Communities will be as per the rules & regulations of the Tamil Nadu State Government.

Government College of Technology offers PG Course ME/M Tech in diverse Specializations. The admission process for ME/M Tech is done through the valid score obtained in GATE/TANCET Entrance Exam, and candidates must be completed a bachelor's degree in BE/B Tech with the required aggregate marks.

TANCET application forms must be filled out online by visiting the official site of the college, and exams will be organized in offline mode. Candidates eligible for the entrance exam can appear for counseling which Anna University will organize.
