Global Academy of Technology was founded in the year 2001 and is A-Grade College. GAT is among the best engineering colleges in Bangalore and equipped with modern technology and perfect infrastructure, suitable for a good academic environment that gives students a good ambiance to accelerate learning. GAT is an (un-aided) autonomous institute affiliated with VTU, and it offers specialization in engineering programs approved by AICTE, New Delhi. GAT Bangalore B.E Admission

B.E courses in GAT are full-time courses of 4 years course duration and are offered in several specializations. This B.E program is under the affiliation of VTU and is approved by AICTE. This college follows the curriculum system of VTU. NBA also accredits the B.E courses.

GAT B.E Eligibility Criteria

Admissions  B.E course in GAT, Bangalore is open to students who:

• Have passed their Pre-University Tests from the University Of Karnataka, 12th Grade /10+2/ A level IB Board, in Science stream (PCM).
• Have at least scored an aggregate of 45% in Maths and Physics, with any other optional subjects. Reserved Category aspirants will have 5% of relaxation in aggregate score. They can score minimum 40%.
• The candidate must be at least 17 (age) for applying to any B.E program. 
• Students who wish to apply for B Tech Lateral Program that is 2^nd year, must have completed Diploma course in concerned discipline.

GAT B.E Selection Criteria

The selection of candidates in GAT for any B.E Program will solely depend on their KCET and COMEDK- UGET scores.

• 45% seats reserved for CET students, 30% seats reserved for COMEDK. And remaining 25% seats reserved for Management Quota.
• Candidates who wish to apply admission under KCET Quota, must apply through KCET Counselling based on valid KCET Rank. Seat allotment will be done as per the KCET merit rank.
• Thus, students must score well in KCET and must satisfy the cut off requirements set by college admission authority.
• Non Karnataka Students have to undertake COMEDK Entrance Test to be eligible for admission in GAT.
• Students seeking admission under Management Quota at GAT, can approach directly to the college authority by filling an admission form.
• For B Tech Lateral Entry, students have to qualify in Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET). Based on rank students will be selected for B Tech Second year.

GAT MTech Eligibility

The minimum qualification that one requires to be eligible to get admission in GAT for an M. Tech Program must be a B.Tech Undergraduate from any specialization with more than 50% aggregate score. Relaxation of 5% will be given to students of the SC/ST category.

GAT M. Tech Selection Criteria

• Candidates will be selected based on their K-PGCET score, followed by an interview and group discussion.
• Candidates with valid GATE score are also eligible to apply for M Tech admission at GAT.
• The students appearing in final year exams, can even apply by filling application form.
• GATE Qualiers not required to appear for PGCET Entrance Test. They will have more preference. At first, seat will be allotted for the students who have valid GATE Score.

• The selection criteria for MBA at GAT is based on the student’s performance in PGCET or KMAT Entrance Test.

• The final selection of the candidates will be based on academic merit, entrance exam score followed by GD/PI.

• Students can fill the GAT Bangalore application forms online or can even visit the college campus for filling forms.
• However, students applying through KCET, COMEDK UGET or PGCET must log in for the respective website to fill the form.
• The students must submit all the mandatory documents either through an online admission form or to the campus and submit all the documents to the office.
