Brindavan College of Engineering is a self-financed engineering college founded in 1993 in Bangalore, Karnataka. It is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation and the All India Institute for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. In addition, the institute is affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgavi.

  • The Brindavan College of Engineering (BCE)  offers a Bachelor of Engineering in 5 specializations to its UG candidates.
  • The intake capacity for the BE course is 30 to 120 seats, depending on the specialization.
  • Candidates interested in these courses must fulfil the eligibility criteria of passing the 10+2 examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the compulsory subjects, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.
  • Students should also appear for the JEE Main entrance exam to be eligible for admission to the BTech course.
  • Selection is done based on the merit list of the same.

  • The MTech degree is available in 2 streams for the applicants that have graduated in their BTech degree and are willing to further pursue engineering as their postgraduate degree at the Brindavan College of Engineering (BCE).
  • Applicants must have a BE or BTech degree with a 55% score in their respective specialization to seek admission to the MTech course.
  • They must also appear for the national level entrance exam, GATE and secure qualifying scores to be eligible for admission.
  • Students that wish to pursue a career in management studies can opt for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program offered by the BCE.
  • Admission to this course is given to the students based on the marks obtained by them in their bachelor's degree.
  • Students inclined to study this program should have a relevant bachelor's degree with 50% marks in graduation.
  • They should've also obtained qualifying marks in the Karnataka PGECET and KMAT entrance exams.
  • The BCE also offers a Master of Computer Application course.

Brindavan College of Engineering Diploma Admission

  • Diploma courses in engineering, i.e. polytechnic programs, are available at the Brindavan College of Engineering (BCE) for the students who have passed their 10th exam.
  • Candidates should have passed their 10th examination with satisfactory marks as a minimum selection criterion to seek admission to the diploma programs offered by the college.

Brindavan College of engineering admission process is kind of complicated because it takes months for it to complete like write the CET, wait for results, counselling, document verification and then only admission will be given. We will have 3 rounds of counselling process we can wait to get admission in some good college for BE according to our CET marks.

What are the admission criteria for joining B.Tech computer science engineering at BCE?

A pass in class 12th with Physics and Mathematics as required courses and Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Electronics, Biology or Computer Science, as one of the subjects with 45 percent aggregate marks, is required to apply for B.Tech. All BE specializations can only be chosen on the basis of merit in the KCET qualifying examination. Candidates from the SC/ ST/ OBC categories in Karnataka must score at least 40% in the optional subjects if English is one of them. Students appeared for KCET; the cut-off of B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering is 62575. Those students appeared for COMEDK the cut-off for B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering is 46889.

How much is the course fee of B.Tech at BCE?

Students must make a payment of INR 67.5k for a year as an academic year fee. So, the total course fee of the B.Tech at BCE will cost around INR 2.7 lakhs for four years.
