For admission into UG (BAMS) courses in Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, candidate must have completed the age of 17 years on or before appearing for examinations. Basic requirement to get admission is that candidate must have passed 12th with physics, chemistry & biology as the compulsory subject with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board. Final selection for admission is made on the basis of score in NEET entrance exam and hence valid score as per the cut off marks is expected. Candidates can fill the online application form in the month of February; fee for application form is INR 1,500 for general and OBC category students.
Ayurved Mahavidyalaya Admission for Bachelors of Ayurvedic medicine and surgery (BAMS) is done offline at the colleges’ admissions office. The admission requirement for the BAMS course includes: The candidate should have passed their 12th grade or an equivalent in science streaming, having physics, chemistry and biology as their majors with a collective average marks of 50%. The candidate should also be of min. 17 years of age. The candidate should also appear for the NEET entrance test. The score secured in NEET will play a pivotal role in the selection of candidates. Once the NEET scores are out, the candidates are called for counseling following which colleges are allotted.
For admission into UG medical courses in Ayurved Mahavidyalaya aspirants must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate marks with PCB as the compulsory subject from a recognised board and he/she must be Indian and must have completed the age of 17 years on or before appearing for examination (there is no upper age limit). NEET is the entrance exam which the college accept for admission and hence admission seekers are expected to appear for NEET exam and must secure valid score as per the cut off marks. Fees structure for courses is feasible if the admission is taken through entrance examination. Fees structure is comparatively higher in case if the admission is taken through management quota.
