Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Nashik, popularly known as Ayurved Seva Sangh's Ayurved Mahavidyalaya is one of the very oldest and most reputed Ayurvedic institutions in Maharashtra. The undergraduate course is Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), and postgraduates are offered MD/MS (Ayurveda) programmes in several specializations. BAMS admission is done through NEET UG, whereas AIAPGET is the basis for PG admissions. BAMS admission is done through the State CET Cell, Maharashtra, with AACCC AYUSH Counselling filling the 15% All India Quota seats. The campus welcomes 75 BAMS students yearly, along with the availability of seats for various Ayurveda disciplines for postgraduates.

Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Nashik BAMS Admission 2026

NEET UG 2026 will be the basis for admissions to the BAMS programme. Candidates eligible must also take part in the Maharashtra AYUSH Counselling conducted by the State CET Cell.
For those who apply under the 15% All India Quota, registration through AACCC AYUSH Counselling is necessary. The course of BAMS is for 5.5 years, inclusive of one year of the compulsory rotatory internship.

Eligibility – BAMS

  • Candidate must have passed Class 12 while taking Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
  • General category candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in PCB.
  • Reserved category candidates must have a minimum of 40% marks in PCB.
  • Candidate must be 17 years of age or above on December 31, 2026.
  • Candidate must qualify NEET UG 2026.

For admission into UG (BAMS) courses in Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, the candidate must have completed the age of 17 years on or before appearing for examinations. The basic requirement to get admission is that the candidate must have passed 12th with physics, chemistry & biology as the compulsory subjects with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board. Final selection for admission is made based on the score in the NEET entrance exam and hence valid score as per the cutoff marks is expected. Candidates can fill out the online application form.

For admission into UG medical courses in Ayurved Mahavidyalaya aspirants must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate marks with PCB as the compulsory subject from a recognised board and he/she must be Indian and must have completed the age of 17 years on or before appearing for examination (there is no upper age limit). NEET is the entrance exam which the college accept for admission and hence admission seekers are expected to appear for NEET exam and must secure valid score as per the cut off marks. Fees structure for courses is feasible if the admission is taken through entrance examination. Fees structure is comparatively higher in case if the admission is taken through management quota.
