Anand Institute of Higher Technology (AIHT), Chennai, was started in 2000 to offer Engineering and Management program at UG & PG levels with specializations. The programs offered are B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA have their affiliation and follow the norms laid by Anna University.

  • B.Tech admission is based on Merit in the 10+2 or equivalent exam and TNEA counseling.
  • For M.Tech and MBA admission, the student must have graduated in a functional area and a TANCET exam score.
  • The Admission is purely for Tamil Nadu state Students only.
  • Other state or Central Govt. employee students or Tamil refugees of Sri Lanka will be admitted through Open Admission.

AIHT, Chennai B.Tech Admissions:

The Institute is currently offering a B.Tech program with seven specializations for the students with 10+2 or equivalent level education with PCM as compulsory subjects and any other subject from a recognized body. The admission selection process will be based on merit in the qualifying exam and TNEA counseling held by the Institute.

The Institute also accepts admission to 2nd-year B.Tech for the students who have studied Diploma engineering from any recognized board.

AIHT, Chennai MBA Admissions:

The Institute offers an MBA program with four specializations for students with bachelor’s degrees in any stream with minimum marks. The admission will be based on the TANCET exam score. Students with a valid score in MAT or CAT exam are also eligible to apply for the MBA program.

The Application process of the institute is carried out in offline mode. The students will have to get the application form from the institute directly. The filled application form has to be sent to the admission office of the institute with documents and entrance exam scores. The payment method, as well as the application fee, will be announced by the institute.

  • The Institute has reservations as per the Anna University norms.
  • The seats are reserved for other category students, women, defense killed dependents, ex-service dependents, disabled students, and gallantry award winners.

AIHT, Chennai Scholarship Details:

BC/MBA Welfare Board, Minority Welfare Board, Labour Department, and SC/ST Welfare Board provide scholarships for deserving students. The students are also provided with benefits by the Labour Welfare Board and Minority Welfare Board for minority category students, cine field, and also wards of Beedi workers.

The Central Sector scheme also recognizes the students who scored above 955 in 10+2 out of 1200 from the TNSBE, and each student is provided with INR 10000/- per year till course completion.
