Eligibility Criteria/Cut-off for Admissions 2020

Ambala College of Engineering and Applied Research (ACEAR), Ambala is a self-financing engineering college that was started in 2002 with having affiliation to Kurukshetra University. The college is offering Engineering programs at undergraduate & postgraduate level with a total intake of 360 students.               The Programs offered are B.Tech and M.Tech with specializations.

  • The College Application form is available in the official website. The students can download the application form and submit it offline.
  • The basic eligibility required for admission to B.Tech program is a pass in 10+2 or equivalent in science stream with minimum 45% marks and valid score in JEE Main.
  • Admission to 2nd year B.Tech is also provided for the students with Diploma Engineering education with minimum 45% marks and valid score in LEET exam.
  • Students with 10+2+4 system education in Science stream with at least 55% marks and valid score in GATE exam can apply for admission to M.Tech program.
  • The college has reserved 15% of the total seats for students belonging to other state than Haryana and the college even has a reservation for reserved category students, girls and also for handicapped students.

ACEAR is offering engineering program at bachelor level (B.Tech) with four specializations. The students are required to have a 10+2 or equivalent level education in Science stream with 45% marks. The Admission will be based on valid score in JEE Main exam.

Students with Diploma Engineering education with 45% marks are allowed to apply for 2nd year B.Tech program. The final admission process will be based on OLET LEET exam score.

Key Points:

  • Reserved category students are having 5% relaxation in their qualifying exam score.
  • Physics & Mathematics are to be compulsorily studied in 10+2 level with any other subject by the student applying for B.Tech program.
  • The students applying for Biotechnology in B.Tech must have Physics and Biology as compulsory subjects in 10+2 level.
  • A student applying for 2nd year admission to B.Tech program, Diploma Degree that is approved by HSTES is mandatory.
  • AICTE, approved Diploma Engineering or UGC recognized B.Sc. degree students can also apply for B.Tech lateral Entry.

ACEAR, Ambala M.Tech Admissions:

The College is offering M.Tech program with four specializations for the students having basic education of B.Tech in the relevant discipline along with a GATE exam score. The student will have to attend a GATE counseling held by the respective body.
