Aarupadai Veedu Medical College was proposed by Thirumurugan Kirupananda Medical and Charitable Trust in 2000. This institute is situated in Pondicherry, and this is the first medical institute established by this trust. When this institute was started, it was under the affiliation of Pondicherry University, and later on, in 2004, it was under the domain of Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation.

  • Currently, in this medical college, around 550 undergraduate students and 99 PG students are pursuing medical studies. They offer almost 13 departments, of which 9 are clinical, 1 Para clinical, 1 allied health science and 2 pre-clinical.

I did my bachelor’s in MBBS course at AVMC, Pondicherry. I wish to say college offers good academic facilities and appropriate education through distinguish faculty members who are highly educated and having vast academic experience in medical domain. Pre-Clinical departments are situated near the campus premises and we have well equipped laboratories with modern amenities. Aarupadai Veedu Medical College fee structure for MBBS course costs approximate 20 Lakhs for 1st year and from 2nd year onwards I paid the fee around 19 Lakhs and for the NRI candidates fee is very expensive it expenses upto 1.2 Crores. AVMC admissions are basically offered on the basis of NEET UG Score.
