Aarupadai Veedu Medical College

Aarupadai Veedu Medical College was proposed by Thirumurugan Kirupananda Medical and Charitable Trust in 2000. This institute is situated in Pondicherry, and this is the first medical institute established by this trust. When this institute was started, it was under the affiliation of Pondicherry University, and later on, in 2004, it was under the domain of Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation.

• Currently, in this medical college, around 550 undergraduate students and 99 PG students are pursuing medical studies. They offer almost 13 departments, of which 9 are clinical, 1 Para clinical, 1 allied health science and 2 pre-clinical.
• They recently started their bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy and a centre for Yogic science. Aarupadai Veedu Medical and Hospital is the associate hospital with a bed strength capacity of 574.
• All the departments of this college are equipped with all the required infrastructure. They have a vast library with huge collections of books, international and Indian Journals. In addition, the library has an internet facility, WI-FI, and AV facilities.
• Courses offered in this institute are UG-MBBS, PG- Clinical and Non-Clinical. Apart from clinical and Non-clinical, this college offers Allied Sciences courses like BASLP, B.Sc, and BPT as degree programs and MPT as PG courses. Diploma courses are also offered under various specializations.
• Aarupadai Veedu Medical admissions through online counselling based on NEET UG or PG score. Aarupadai Veedu Medical fee structure for MBBS is around 20 lakhs, and the BPT fee is INR 80,000.
