West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has been cancelled the WBJECA (Joint Entrance Exam for Master’s in Computer Application) and JELET 2020 (Joint Entrance Exam for Lateral Entry B Tech/B Pharm) due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Also, concerned admission authority have announced the new admission criteria for the respective courses.
Candidates who have registered previously for WBJECA and WBJELET in order to take up entrance exam, such candidates are eligible to take part in the counselling session of WBJECA 2020 & WBJELET 2020 to secure admission for MCA and Lateral Entry B Tech/B Pharm courses which are offered by the several colleges or universities in West Bengal State.
Candidates who have completed three years Diploma in relevant discipline or B.Sc. in any stream are eligible to appear for WBJELET 2020 Counselling and candidates who have been completed bachelor’s degree in any discipline with stipulated aggregate score can take part in WBJECA Counselling.
WBJEEB is responsible for conducting both the counselling session and it will soon start the counselling for already registered candidates via centralized e-counselling process. Hence, it is necessary for the registered candidates to take part in the counselling session with out fail to avoid the further consequences
As per the official notification, WBJECA 2020 & JELET 2020 Online counselling schedule will be updated soon on official website by the WBJEEB admission authority. According to schedule, candidates must proceed to take part with in stipulated date & time.
Authority have also notified regarding the 2nd phase of WBJECA & JELET registration process commencement. As per the authority statement, the 2nd Phase registration process will begin soon for the applicants who have missed the opportunity to register in 1st phase due to the amid COVID-19 Lockdown situation.
