University of Madras (UNOM) distant education Admission 2021 has extended the last date to apply till 31 December 2020. This notice was uploaded on the varsity's official website.
"The last date to apply for admission UG/ PG/ MBA/ MCA/ certificate/Diploma Courses for the 2020-21 Academic Session through the Institute of Distance Education, University of Madras is extended to 31.12.2020," says the statement on the official website.
Madras University Institute of Distance Education offers 15 undergraduate, 20 postgraduate and 30 degree and diploma courses. Candidates who are interested and eligible can apply on the varsity's official website.
How to register for UNOM Distant Education Admission 2021
Step 1: Candidates will have to visit the official website of UNOM Distant Education Admission 2021 (ideunom.ac.in).
Step 2: Candidates will have to select the New User and enter their name.
Step 3: Applicants will have to enter their Email.Id (All the future notification and communication from this institute will be sent Only to their E-Mail).
Step 4: Candidates will have to enter their phone number and note that this phone number will be will be their password and all the notification or communications will be sent ONLY to this number. Note: candidates can change their Password during subsequent login.
Step 5: While logging in students will have to enter the code that is shown in the screen. If the code is not visible please refresh using the refresh button and the code will be redirected on the same page.
Step 6: Once the details is filled Submit the form by clicking on “CREATE ACCOUNT“.
Step 7: Once you click on that Candidates will receive OTP (One Time Password) to the registered mobile number.
Step 8: If the OTP is not received within 3 minutes, click the resend OTP link to get a new OTP.
Step 9: Candidates will have to enter the OTP in the given box on the page.
Step 10: Once the OTP is sent account will be created on their name for future login and communications. If the candidates forget the password they can send request for new password and the new password will be sent to candidates mail.id.
How to apply for UNOM Distant Education Admission 2021
Step 1: Students will have to visit the official website of UNOM Distant Education Admission 2021 and click on login.
Step 2: Candidates will have to fill in username will be your Email-Id and Password will be your mobile number.
Step 3: Candidates will have to select the course steam to apply
Step 4: Applicants will have to fill in all the details required in the application form.
Step 5: Candidates will have to attatch scanned Photo, Signature and relevant certificates at the respective locations to the application form.
Step 6: Once all the details are filled candidates will have to select the “ Save & Preview “ button to see the application form again and make any changes if needed.
Step 7: Once the application form is filled properly candidates will have to make online payment using Debit card / Net Banking / Credit Card.
Step 8: Once the payment is done candidates will receive an a acknowledgement with a provisional enrollment number to the given email id.
Step 9: The university will check the given details and verify documents and then they will receive accept/reject/call for personal review for admission.
Step 10: A conformation mail will be sent to registered E-Mail and Mobile Number about all the transactions.
Step 11: If a candidates is submitted fake account or suppression of facts to IDE will lead to rejection of application and suitable action will be taken.
Step 12: Once the registration fees is paid it will not be refunded by any chance.
