The registrations for NEET-UG 2022 have been extended till May 15, check here for complete exam details. 

The Medical aspiring students preparing to appear for NEET UGET 2022 can register themselves for the exam till May 15, 2022, due to the extended timeline announced by the conducting authority. The news has been confirmed by NTA on their official website. As a new update, NTA has declared that the female candidates willing to join B.Sc. nursing will be selected based on the NEET scores in AFMS Colleges. There is a total of 220 seats B.Sc. Nursing is offered by the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) colleges in India for female candidates.

As of now, the exam date for NEET UG 2022 is to be held on 17 July 2022. The exam mode of NEET UG is in the PBT method in about 13 languages. The NEET-UG scores are examined every year to provide admissions for medical courses like MBBS, BDS, AYUSH programs that is offered various private and Government colleges across India. 

The NEET-UG 2022 eligibility is that the candidates must have completed their 10+2 board exams from a recognized board with mandatory subjects like PCMB. They must have secured min of 60% aggregate in all the subjects.

According to the statistics, there are a total of MBBS-90,825 seats, BDS-27,948 seats, AYUSH-52,720 seats, BVSc-603 seats, AIIMS-1899 seats, and JIPMER-249 seats.

Here’s how you can register for NEET-UG 2022:

The mode of application for NEET-UG 2022 is the online method. Eligible students must visit the NTA official website at neet.nta.nic.in. to register for the exam.

  • Applicants who have made any errors while filling the application form are allowed to apply for the correction window opened in May 2022 to correct the mistake.  
  • Once visiting the website, the candidate must look for the “New Registration” tab.
  • They must go through the guidelines before filling out the application form.
  • Candidates must enter their details to generate the User ID, application number, and password.
  • Log in to the application portal, candidates must enter all the personal, academic, and contact details, and info about the preferred exam center for NEET-UG 2022 exam.
  • Once the details are filled in, candidates must upload the relevant photos, and signatures according to the guidelines of the authority.
  • To end the application process for NEET-UG 2022, they must pay the application fees.
  • In the end, the candidates must keep a copy of the application form and the fee receipt for future references.
  • The applicants are allowed to submit only one application, multiple applications may lead to the rejection of the candidates.

The important documents required to attach while filling the application form for NEET-UG 2022 are:

  • 10+2 board examination certificate from the recognized board.
  • Aadhar card number
  • Any of the Government issued ID proof like passport, ration card, PAN card, etc.
  • Passport size photo, signature in a scanned copy along with the left-thumb impression.
  • Online payment details like debit/ credit card, net banking, or UPI options.

Once the registrations are done, NTA will announce the dates for releasing the admit card for NEET-UG 2022 as it is the essential document to carry for the examination center.
