Schedule for NEET Counselling of 2021

The schedule for NEET Counselling of 2021 is revised; registrations will be open from 16th February 2022 

The MCC- Medical Counselling Committee has revised the NEET counselling round two of the 2021 schedule. The updates are officially announced on the website at mcc.nic.in. Only the shortlisted candidates based on NEET scores will be eligible for the counselling process of NEET-UG 2021. Candidates will have to register online by visiting the official website for round two of the counselling process.  

According to the latest information from MCC, the registrations for Round 2 NEET Counselling 2021 will begin from 16th February to 21, 2022. Previously, the NEET 2021 counselling process was scheduled to start on 9th February, as the round one counselling process results were given on 2nd February.

As a fact check of counselling round one of NEET 2021, a total of 83,075 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, and 603 BVSc & AH seats were granted. Candidates who wish to register for the counselling rounds are recommended to visit the MCC website to know more about the latest details about the NEET UG Counselling of 2021.  

Things to know about the NEET UG 2021 counselling registration process

  • Candidates must visit the MCC website at mcc.nic.in
  • Next, they must click on the NEET-UG counselling tab and then select the “New Registration” button.
  • Candidates are required to enter information like their name, registration number, academic info, personal details, and information about their NEET result.
  • To complete the registration process, they must pay the NEET 2021 Counselling fees online, i.e., card payment, net banking, or UPI.  

Let’s know more about the NEET UG counselling 2021 eligibility for round two. 

  • Those candidates who were not allotted any seats in the NEET 2021 first-round Counselling will be eligible for round two. 
  • Candidates who were allotted seats in round one but were not satisfied will also be eligible for round 2.
  • The candidates who are categorized under reserved quota but had cancelled because of document verification in the round will be allowed to apply for round two under different categories. 
  • Candidates who are willing for an up-gradation even after attending the assigned institutes in the round can also apply for round two of the counselling process.  

The MCC announced the counselling dates for NEET-UG 2021 on 13th January 2022, there will be four rounds of counselling process for AIQ. This includes vacancies available in Deemed and Central Universities such as Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up round and other vacancy rounds.
